Bridging Meeting 2014

in Gastroenterology EAGEN Postgraduate Course

pdf small Program

Dear colleagues & friends,

I would like to welcome all fellows and mentors of the European GI Bridging Meeting 2014.

We are delighted by your continued support, which allows for this annual event to successfully remain an important occasion to build bridges among young clinical investigators throughout Europe and to provide a platform for their academic growth. Some of the “early” fellows have become teachers and mentors themselves and have spread the concept of “bridging” to the next generation of dedicated researchers in Europe.

We are proud to share another fascinating program by maintaining the traditional format based on research reports, short keynotes and comments with the big aim to be as interactive as possible. The mutual benefit will not only be to increase our knowledge but to create new bridges and collaborations across Europe.

Two excellent EAGEN postgraduate courses will complement the structure for this years Bridging Meeting. To start off, one EAGEN course on GERD and to conclude, one EAGEN course on GI disease in the elderly.

We are looking forward to this event with intensive interaction among this international GI community. Let’s continue to build (and cross) new bridges!

Yours,

Peter Malfertheiner
