Fit for the future

in Gastroenterology & Postgraduate Course (2017)

pdf small Program

Dear friends & colleagues:

This year we conclude a triennial educational – scienti c program, which can already be considered a positive experiment. Where fellows and their mentors successfully engaged within this European network of manifold and interdisciplinary
gastroenterology.

The scope to provide continuity over a 3-year-period has found its motivation in promoting the progress of young scientists and clinical researchers and in providing a platform to share knowledge, experience and research ideas.

We, the generation of mentors, are proud of the privilege to observe the advances of our fellows in their academic careers. To see how several former fellows have evolved into the roles of academic mentors is utmost rewarding. We are grateful to the EAGEN & EHMSG and our umbrella organization UEG for their support of this unique mentor-fellow teaching concept in academic gastroenterology. A sincere thank to our industrial partners for their ongoing support.

We hope we will be able to continue this well established and highly successful fellow-mentorship teaching format in the future.

Welcome to Berlin for another exciting event, which cherishes scientifiic progress and friendships among the European gastroenterology network.

Yours,

Prof. Dr. Drs. h.c. Peter Malfertheiner
& his team in Magdeburg
